How Information adds value to an organisation

Good Information adds value to an organisation as the quality of decision making depends on the quality of information that you have. It is extremely important that information is accurate, up to date and complete as decision making is a very important factor of an organisation. Information can also show a business how well it is doing, performance wise. Information can also allow a business to gain a competitive advantage, as they will be able to compare sales, turnover, profit and losses with their competitors.

Lesson on Cost

The topic that I will be teaching to my fellow classmates is Cost, which is on the right hand side of pg.11. To teach this topic to my classmates I will design a powerpoint using Microsoft powerpoint that will clearly explain the topic of cost and I will ensure that it is easy to understand and I will design it in a way that will keep the pupils interested for the duration of the lesson. I will also make a lesson plan of what I am going to do after I present the presentation which will include a question and answer session. I will also think of an appropriate homework for the class so that I can be sure that they know the topic very well by doing some work at home.
